The Bland County Government offices are located in the heart of downtown Bland at 612 Main Street, Bland, VA 24315.

Bland County's Government System comprises of 4 Board of Supervisors from the following districts within the county: Sharon, Mechanicsburg, Rocky Gap and Seddon.

The County Administrator is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. All County Departments report directly to the County Administrator with the exception of the Constitutional offices. Constitutional Officers are elected by the people in general elections.
