Bland County is seeking applicants for the following position: Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney
This is a part-time position with no benefits and hours will vary per week based on the Commonwealth Attorney’s trial and case load. Applicants are subject to criminal history background check, drug testing. Applicant must be a Virginia licensed attorney and in good standing with the Virginia Bar Association. Applicants will be required to present criminal cases in all Virginia Court’s for prosecution, manage their own case files, and assist victims. All cases and Attorney workload will be at the direction and supervision of the Elected Commonwealth’s Attorney. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
