On behalf of the Bland County Board of Supervisors, we welcome Ms. Robbins as she transitions into her new role within the agency. She has been with the Bland County Department of Social Services (DSS) since 2011 as a Family Services Specialist.

The Board of Supervisors are appreciative of the work conducted in the search process for a new director by the Bland County DSS Board, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Social Services. Bland County is fortunate that it has a very strong local DSS agency, with an outstanding team working in that agency every day in service of the community. Appreciation is also expressed for Sarah Newberry who served as Interim-Director during the search process.
