Bland County Celebrates the Official Opening of 81 Solutions

(Bland, Virginia) – COVID has had an impact on a lot of events over the past year. Celebrating the opening of a local business is one of them. 452 Main Street is the site of a business that opened last year, but officially celebrated its opening in Bland County with members of the Board of Supervisors and Economic Development Authority on Wednesday, February 11th via a ribbon cutting event.

“We have been open for about a year, however, due to COVID we have never been able to officially celebrate,” stated company official TJ Hicks. He continued, “81 Solutions is open six days a week and we offer a variety of services. Our services range from U-Haul rental to custom shirts, embroidery, knives, Zippo lighters, glass etching, 3-D printing, and more. We are local, open, and here to serve your business and personal needs.” Stephen Kelley, Supervisor for the Seddon District, welcomed the Hicks and joined in the official opening of 81 Solutions by stating, “[i]t is wonderful to see a local entrepreneur open a business in Bland County. We encourage everyone to reach out to TJ and his team at 81 Solutions to see if they have a local service that can meet your needs.”

"Bland County has a strong business community, and we welcome 81 Solutions and wish them much success,” stated David Dillow, chair of the Bland County Economic Development Authority (EDA). Charlie Fore, member of the Bland County EDA continued, “[s]mall businesses and entrepreneurships provide a strong foundation to any business community and we are pleased to be able to support businesses with events such as today.”
