Bland County Solid Waste Collection Schedule Change

BLAND COUNTY SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE CHANGE

June 2024, we began a new Solid Waste Collection Schedule of 4 days a week collection. The change was to hopefully improve our collection services and allow the staff an additional day throughout the week for time off or make-up days.

The County and Meridian Waste have decided that it would be in the best interest of both parties to go back to the old schedule of collection as it was prior to June 2024.

The following will be the new schedule as of September 8, 2025:

Route 606 and all of the Hollybrook area will stay on the normal Wednesday collection.

Grapefield, Route 52 from South Gap to Bastian, Hunting Camp, Railroad Trail, and the Bastian area will all go back to Thursday collection.

Rocky Gap, Clearfork, Wolf Creek, Laurel Fork, Dry Fork, and East River Mountain will go back to Friday collection.

If your current collection day is Monday or Tuesday your collection day will remain the same.

The current Holiday Schedule for 2025 is:

July 4, 2025
November 27, 2025
December 25, 2025

If a Holiday falls on your collection day it will not be collected until the following week on your normal collection day.
